Cyprus Property Hotspots

Ayia Napa Beach

Larnaca Metropolitan Area

Larnaca is a combination of residential and tourist areas boasting well established local and national businesses, and a family-friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Cyprus’ largest airport is in close proximity to the town and local, well-established road links ensure quick and easy accessibility to the nearby resorts of Limassol, Nicosia and Agia Napa. With Larnaca housing the island’s second commercial port and with a population of 72,000, the town presents investors with a thriving, up and coming tourist resort.

Paphos Coast

Paphos Metropolitan Area

With a population of 67,432, Paphos is a thriving town on the west coast of Cyprus, renowned for it’s wealthy tourist industry and for becoming the home of many ex-pats. It started life as two small towns that have, slowly but surely, merged to become an exciting Cypriot resort, offering excellent restaurants and hotels, serving local and international holiday makers alike. Both Kato Paphos - the beach, harbour and tourist areas, and Ktima - the residential, retail and commercial region, tend to retain year-round popularity and offer a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The main highway from Limassol ends at Paphos and journey times average at around three hours from the town to the popular resort of Ayia Napa, two hours to Limassol.

Ayia Napa Beach

Protaras / Paralimni Metropolitan Area

Paralimni, with a population of only 11,000, currently run under the administrative jurisdiction of Paralimni Municipality, is a town situated in the South East of Cyprus, a little way inland, within the Famagusta District. Since the Turkish occupation of Northern Cyprus, the town has increased in size and status, largely due to the migration of many refugees fleeing from the North. Many of the people working in the tourist industry of both Protaras and Agia Napa are residents of the town although it is not hard to see that Paralimni, itself, still remains a predominantly tourist area. The town is undoubtedly an up and coming resort which, in recent years, has grown to be the would-be capital of the non-occupied Famagusta area and, therefore, provides the opportunity for investment potential.
